“Jump Back Ball”
The 19th annual Jump Back Ball “Celebrate: Carnavale,” hosted by the PlayhouseSquare Partners was everything it set out to be, from the sold-out crowd of 950 guests, to the $120,000 it raised for the organization.
One of the most creative parties of the year, partners work behind the scenes building elaborate decorations and props for the party. Ladies in feather masks and red stilettos and men in black tie and masks attended the VIP party in the grand Palace Theatre lobby. Chef Zack Bruell tantalized the crowd with a cooking demonstration and some of his finest creations, including a sampler of heavenly cheeses and the freshest sushi from his renowned restaurants Table 45, Parallax, Chinato, and L’Albatros.
Guests made the rounds at the gambling tables as they enjoyed cocktails and a sumptuous buffet by Sammy’s.
Couples basked in front of a Venetian backdrop for photographs, fortune tellers relayed the future and guests danced to Skinny Moo.
A raffle and silent auction featured tempting packages filled with tickets to performances, overnight stays and gift certificates.
Hats off to Jump Back Ball co-chairmen Nick Guglielmo and George Reider for their roles. Partners, a group of young professionals, raises money that will help PlayhouseSquare with its mission of presenting and producing quality performing arts, advancing arts education and creating a superior location for entertainment, business and housing, thereby strengthening the vitality of the region.
