Where did the summer go? is the question many ask in August as the countdown begins toward another school year. So, we turn our focus in section C of this month’s Currents to education and back-to-school issues and wish everyone a successful new year!
From modern to green design and eco-dwelling, section B this month highlights cutting-edge home design and designers in our area. While our June brides have married, honeymooned and unpacked and are ready to begin the wonderful journey of marriage, those of you just beginning to plan your big day will find information to help and inspire you, also in section B.
Finally this month, we launch a new six-month series called Boomers & beyond in Section B. Articles and information in this series will appeal to, educate and inform Baby Boomers through seniors (the largest growing segment of our population) about issues specific to them — financial, retirement and long-term care planning, caring for aging parents, health and fitness, etc. You name it, we hope to cover it, so feel free to let us know what issues would be of most interest to you.
