Children’s Free Care Fund “Taste in the Chagrin Valley”

More than 400 people turned out for the sixth annual “Taste in the Chagrin Valley” at the Tanglewood Club in Bainbridge to benefit Howard Hanna’s Children’s Free Care F

Guests enjoyed samplings provided by a star team of chefs from Northeast Ohio, a live and silent acution and a $15,000 cash raffle. New this year was “Auction Fever.”

Celebrity emcee was Jan Jones. Entertainment was provided by DJ Chuck Hren and Blues guitarist, Paul Borger. Event chairpersons were Mike Brzozowski, Karin Schleifer and Judy Solether, along with Michelle DeGulis, office manager of the Chagrin Falls Howard Hanna office.

Proceeds raised benefit the Children’s Free Care Fund, which helps ensure that children without healthcare coverage receive needed medical care. Howard Hanna’s annual Children’s Free Care Fund, which was established 26 years ago, has donated more than $9 million to date to 10 children’s hospitals. They include University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, MetroHealth, Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital and Akron Children’s Hospital.
