Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland “Promenade”

The Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland kicked off Diabetes Awareness Month in style with its 29th annual Promenade benefit at the Western Reserve Historical Society.

VIP guests had an opportunity to participate in a guided tour of The Crawford Auto Aviation Collection. The newly renovated Crawford Rotunda featured antique, vintage and classic automobiles, rare aircraft and motorcycles representing Northeast Ohio’s transportation history.

Gary Lichtenstein was honored as Director of the Year for his 15 years of service to the organization. Volunteers Veronica Runcis, Christopher Partin and Paul Salvo were recognized for their participation in Eaton Corporation’s United Way Days of Caring at Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland’s Camp Ho Mita Koda. Victoria MacGregor, a 14-year-old with juvenile diabetes, spoke about her appreciation for the programs at Camp Ho Mita Koda.

Following dinner catered by A Taste of Excellence, guests enjoyed the sounds of the Dan Zola Orchestra.

All proceeds from the event support the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland’s education programs, community services and Camp Ho Mita Koda for children with diabetes.
